These Terms & Conditions govern the use of RateEngine by distributor account holders. By creating or using a distributor account on RateEngine, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

1. Eligibility & Registration

Only verified distributors representing legitimate brands, products, or companies may register a distributor account. During registration, the distributor must provide legal documentation proving distributorship status. This may include: Authorization letters from the manufacturer or supplier, Business registration documents, Contracts or agreements with the brand/company. RateEngine reserves the right to review, verify, or reject any submitted documentation.

2. Account Permissions & Activities

Distributors on RateEngine are granted access to the following features and responsibilities:
a. Rating Shops
Distributors can rate and review shops within their distribution network. All ratings must be truthful, respectful, and non-defamatory, reflecting actual business dealings.
b. Planning Promotions
Distributors may: Create and publish promotions targeted at shops or consumers. Boost promotions through paid features to increase visibility. Engage with shops and consumers through comments and announcements.
c. Business Engagement
Distributors can: View feedback from shops and respond appropriately. Monitor distributor performance through insights and analytics (if available). Coordinate with RateEngine to support brand promotions or regional campaigns.

3. Conduct & Responsibilities

All distributors must adhere to the following conduct standards: Provide accurate and current information at all times. Do not publish or promote competitor content, fake offers, or misleading promotions. Do not attempt to manipulate ratings or reviews in unethical ways. Engage with shops, consumers, and RateEngine staff in a respectful and professional manner. RateEngine prohibits: Harassment, hate speech, or abusive language. Posting or sharing illegal or copyrighted content without permission. Representing unauthorized products or brands.

4. Documentation & Verification

Distributors must maintain accurate documentation related to their status and may be required to: Submit updated distributor authorization periodically. Prove active business engagement with the brands they represent. Share contact information of the issuing company for verification. Failure to produce valid documentation may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Promotion Payments & Refund Policy

Distributors may use paid features to boost promotions. All promotional payments are non-refundable, even if visibility does not meet expectations. RateEngine is not liable for any business outcomes resulting from promotions.

6. Account Suspension & Termination

RateEngine may, without prior notice, suspend or terminate distributor accounts for: Providing false or misleading documentation, Violating platform rules or community standards, Receiving multiple verified complaints from shops or consumers, Failing to comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

7. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

Distributors must follow all local, national, and international laws governing business operations. If required by law, RateEngine may share distributor data with legal authorities or regulatory bodies. Distributors must ensure that all their content, promotions, and interactions are legally compliant.

8. Data & Privacy

Distributors must respect the privacy of shops, consumers, and other users. All personal and business data shared on RateEngine must be used ethically and responsibly. Distributor data will be managed in accordance with the RateEngine Privacy Policy.

9. Final Agreement

By creating a distributor account on RateEngine, you confirm that: You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. You are legally authorized to represent the distributor or company named in the account. You understand that RateEngine retains the right to modify these terms at any time with notice posted on the platform.
